Dan is CHP's project team lead throughout the entire acquisition, repositioning and/or development process. His responsibilities include assembling an asset specific project team, planning, entitlement, design, budgeting, financing and overall project management. Dan has built valuable and lasting relationships with various contractors, architects, attorneys and municipalities which he leverages for the benefit of CHP’s provider partners.

For the last five years, Dan was with a real estate private equity firm focused on healthcare development. Dan spent the first seven years of his career working at Wintrust Financial Corporation in their commercial banking division, and then moved to the JLL Capital Markets group where he advised various businesses and large corporations on their real estate occupancy strategies.

Dan is a cancer survivor and was drawn to the industry as a result of his past experiences. From his time spent in the hospital and healthcare facilities, Dan noticed the importance of the built environment and its effect on patients and providers. Combining two passions – healthcare and real estate – Dan is deeply invested in every CHP project and its impact on the underlying communities.

Dan lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Emily, and son.

Dan received a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was also a member of the University’s soccer team.
